The organization will present its inaugural ICSC Tech Innovator Awards on Monday, May 18, 2026. This presentation takes place at the first ICSC+PROPTECH during ICSC LAS VEGAS 2026.
This new event serves as an intentional initiative. It connects commercial real estate decision-makers directly with technology founders. The annual program highlights practical and scalable technology solutions. These solutions actively shape the future of the Marketplaces Industry.

Three Distinct Category Winners Honored
The program recognizes excellence across ownership, platforms, and emerging startups. Three specific companies earned recognition during the inaugural presentation:
- Phillips Edison & Company won the Adaptive Asset category. This award recognizes a REIT or owner leveraging technology as a foundational part of its operations.
- Next, FYXT won the Unified Stack category. This honor highlights a platform that connects people, systems, and workflows in commercial real estate.
- Finally, VECKTA won the Retail Rookie category. This category spotlights an early-stage company gaining real traction with landlords and retailers.
ICSC serves as the preeminent membership organization for the commercial real estate and retail industries. The organization promotes spaces where people shop, dine, work, play, and gather. Moving forward, the group will host these awards annually.
