Integral Ad Science announced a new expansion for global advertisers. The company brought its AI-driven Meta Content Block List optimization solution to the Threads feed. This tool belongs to the Social Optimization solution from IAS. It provides brand protection on the rapidly growing platform. Threads reached over 400 million monthly active users globally in 2025. Now advertisers can maximize their return on investment on the app.
In 2024, Meta selected IAS as the first provider for this independent optimization solution. The deep partnership already includes Facebook and Instagram Feed and Reels. It features Total Media Quality Brand Safety, and Suitability Measurement.
New Features for Social Media Advertisers
The expansion gives global advertisers customized control over their campaigns. Clients can use Custom Brand Segments for specific protection. This minimizes ad waste and reduces brand risk.
A simple one-time activation provides automatic protection across Facebook, Instagram, and Threads. The system features an automatic hourly refresh of content.
The technology uses the proprietary Multimedia Understanding Model from IAS. This AI technology analyzes content at a frame-by-frame level. It combines image, audio, and text signals for precise classification. The platform supports 34 languages for global strategies. Advertisers can use third-party validation to confirm their lists work.
