Sprinklr Social Index Reveals How Brands Win the Moments That Matter

Sprinklr Launches the Social Index

Sprinklr released its comprehensive Sprinklr Social Index report to evaluate corporate communication performance. The AI-native platform for Unified Customer Experience Management revealed a stark operational reality. The benchmarking data shows that most corporate brands are visible but unloved. Enterprise teams consistently struggle to generate deep consumer connections. The extensive index evaluated more than 1 million interactions across 1,160 brands.  This study tracked market performance over an 11-month timeline. The resulting data points highlight a widespread performance gap. Specifically, most corporate operations fail to drive positive audience sentiment.

“Brands don’t lack visibility. They lack relevance. The brands winning on social aren’t the ones saying the most – they’re the ones showing up in the right moments, with relevance and clarity to create meaningful connections. Brands that listen continuously across every customer touchpoint, use AI to separate real signals from social noise, and act on those insights through a single, unified system are well prepared to win the moment,” said Sprinklr Chief Administrative Officer, Joy Corso.

Analyzing Industry Performance Disparities

The research evaluates corporate success via a normalized 0-10 scale. This data combines a Brand Index and an Audience Experience Index. Distinct industry patterns emerged clearly during the market investigation. For example, retail businesses post frequently, but 78% fail to create meaningful engagement. Furthermore, 76% of technology brands remain stuck in Broadcast mode. Telecom corporations show a -19 median sentiment. Additionally, financial services companies experience 45% negative sentiment.

The framework establishes a five-stage corporate maturity ladder. The initial Broadcast phase spans scores from 0 to 1.7. Next, the Presence stage encompasses scores between 1.7 and 2.5. The level of Interaction includes job levels ranging from 2.5 to 3.5. The Resonance stage is achieved at the level of 3.5 to 6. Lastly, the Convergence stage needs a minimum rating of 6 or above. The data was collected using a methodology between January 1 and December 5, 2025, from X, Facebook, and Instagram.
