ChargePoint Appoints Jyothi Swaroop as Chief Marketing and Growth Officer

ChargePoint appointed enterprise technology veteran Jyothi Swaroop to a crucial leadership role. Swaroop will serve as the Chief Marketing and Growth Officer for the global electric vehicle charging firm. In this position, the executive will direct the global go-to-market strategy. His responsibilities encompass marketing, go-to-market operations, sales enablement, growth initiatives, partner monetization, and new market expansion.  

The appointment occurs during a pivotal company transformation. ChargePoint is focusing heavily on profitable growth, platform expansion, and strategic partnerships. Swaroop will report directly to Chief Executive Officer Rick Wilmer. He will play a central role in advancing the company’s active three-year corporate strategy. This effort will strengthen market positioning and elevate the brand narrative with investors and customers.  

Expanding The Intelligent Electrification Platform

The enterprise is moving far beyond simple hardware deployment. The charging infrastructure will soon enable demand from commercial fleets and logistics networks. The technology also supports autonomous driving, robotics, energy management, smart buildings, and AI-enabled physical infrastructure. Currently, ChargePoint is actively expanding its software and services revenue. The firm is also strengthening its market position across North America and Europe.  

Rick Wilmer serves as the Chief Executive Officer of ChargePoint. He shared his perspective on the recent executive appointment.

Swaroop previously managed global marketing and revenue operations for several notable enterprise technology corporations. His background includes executive experience at Oracle, Dell EMC, Veritas, and DDN.
