Zendesk Appoints Tifenn Dano Kwan as Chief Marketing Officer

Zendesk has officially named Tifenn Dano Kwan as its new Chief Marketing Officer. This strategic appointment comes during an aggressive push by Zendesk. The company wants to create a true Autonomous Service Workforce. Therefore, Dano Kwan will immediately oversee the global marketing organization. She will focus specifically on market differentiation and building pipeline.

Dano Kwan previously worked at Amplitude. She served as Chief Marketing Officer at that company. There, she led a strategic go-to-market transition into an AI-native analytics platform. She achieved a 52 percent year-over-year increase in website traffic. Furthermore, she built a global marketing engine. This engine generated over a third of marketing-sourced pipeline. Her executive career also includes nearly a decade at SAP. She was the marketing leader for SAP Ariba and SAP Fieldglass. Additionally, she held leadership roles at Collibra and Dropbox.

Zendesk CEO Tom Eggemeier shared his enthusiasm for the new executive appointment.

This executive appointment coincides with significant business momentum for Zendesk. For example, AI bookings more than doubled in fiscal year 2026. The company is currently on track to double that figure again. This total will reach over $400M in fiscal year 2027. Widespread customer adoption drives this massive surge. People love the recent rollouts of agentic messaging. Zendesk also launched new voice and email AI agents.
