SymphonyAI has officially announced the availability of its new CINDE Assortment and Space platform for consumer packaged goods companies. This vertical AI release targets major data visibility gaps currently impacting retail headquarters. According to the POI 2024 State of the Industry Report, 80 percent of CPG headquarters lack critical capabilities to support pricing, trade, and go-to-market decisions.
The software directly solves these systemic retail operational issues. It successfully integrates store clustering, assortment optimization, planogram automation, and live shelf intelligence. Consequently, the software compresses traditional category review cycles from four to six weeks down to a matter of days.
Proven Retail Value and Global Scale
The platform operates as a standalone Assortment-as-a-Service offering or within the full CINDE CPG Enterprise Suite. So far, the technology has supported more than 500 global CPG deployments, including installations at PepsiCo and Southern Co-op. Every single one of the top 25 global CPG companies uses this fundamental framework.
Manish Choudhary, President of Retail at SymphonyAI, explained the industrial necessity behind the recent platform update.
“CPGs have spent years making assortment and shelf decisions with disconnected tools that cannot share data across the planning cycle. CINDE Assortment and Space was built to close that loop entirely. When a demand model proven at one retailer transfers without retraining to every other JBP in the portfolio, and when in-store execution feeds directly back into planning, CPGs stop rebuilding work from scratch every quarter. That capability is available today, backed by 25 years of production deployment across more than 500 global CPGs.”
The platform drives measurable financial improvements for international businesses. For instance, Southern Co-op achieved a 5.2 percent category sales uplift. Meanwhile, a prominent European retailer runs the planogram automation across 32 countries and 32 separate banners. PepsiCo also deployed the system for category captain planning across major UK grocery retailers. SymphonyAI is showcasing the platform at NRF APAC at booth 1514.
