FreeWheel has introduced CTV transparency with a new series-level reporting tool for premium buyers. The company aims to improve visibility across connected TV campaigns.
FreeWheel, a global platform for television advertising, launched Video Content Report within Buyer Cloud. This tool addresses a key gap in CTV transparency for advertisers. It helps buyers understand where campaigns run across premium publishers.
Impression-level data is employed in this report from the Streaming Hub platform. Therefore, it provides accurate insight into the performance of the series after the conclusion of the campaign. In addition, it is based on publisher verified data to ensure accuracy. The launch partners include A+E Global Media, Spectrum Reach, Fuse Media, NBCUniversal, Paramount, Warner Bros. Discovery and Xumo.
“CTV buyers need series-level transparency they can trust and use at scale,” said Jon Mansell, Vice President, U.S. Demand for FreeWheel. “What makes Video Content Report unique is the direct connection between Buyer Cloud and Streaming Hub, which enables publisher-permissioned, impression-level delivery insights from multiple premium publishers in one workflow. That gives advertisers a clearer view of where their campaigns ran while giving publishers control over how their content data is shared.”
FreeWheel Enhances CTV Campaign Visibility Through Advanced Reporting
Further, this instrument increases CTV transparency through its feature of providing visibility into campaigns. This makes it easy to assess how audiences are engaged and how content aligns and delivers. Thus, they develop more confidence in their investments. Video Content Report makes life easier for advertisers and agencies. They no longer have to report manually in various platforms.
“As investment in programmatic CTV continues to grow, we as buyers need transparency that is accurate, scalable and easy to access,” said Mike Treon, Head of CTV and Video Strategy for PMG. “FreeWheel’s Video Content Report addresses a real gap in the market by giving us series-level visibility directly within Buyer Cloud, helping us better understand campaign delivery across premium video without relying on one-off reporting requests or adding unnecessary reporting steps.”
Moreover, the platform correlates the publisher metadata with campaign delivery metadata. This ensures that advertisers have an idea about the placement of their impressions. In turn, they will be able to ensure brand safety and alignment. According to research conducted by Advertiser Perceptions, there is an increasing need for the above information. More than half of CTV advertisers favor transparency on a series level.
It further enhances the CTV capability for programmatic services. There is no need for any additional charges, as it delivers scalable analytics. In addition, it offers direct integration with the media buying process. On the whole, the company continues to enhance the transparency of CTV through advanced reporting features.
