Hightouch has acquired Strata to expand its marketing integrations and help AI agents access data across marketing tools. The acquisition strengthens Hightouch’s Agentic Marketing Platform by connecting more systems and supporting data-driven marketing decisions.
Strata is an AI platform that integrates marketing apps without writing any code. This is what Hightouch hopes to accomplish by acquiring Strata – expanding the capabilities of AI agents used by marketing teams with access to more data.
Strata Brings No-Code AI Data Integration
Founded in 2024, Strata was established by Kelsey Mullaney, Julian Mclain, and Ilya Brin. The founders previously worked as early employees at Iterable.
Strata gives users the ability to identify what data they need and where it needs to be moved. The AI agent of Strata creates this connection and takes care of maintaining it as the connected systems evolve. Therefore, marketing teams have the ability to connect tools without help from engineers.
Following the acquisition, Strata CEO Kelsey Mullaney will join Hightouch. She will help lead revenue programs and go-to-market strategy.
Hightouch co-founder and CTO Joshua Curl highlighted how the acquisition supports marketers’ access to customer data.
“Marketers should be able to use their customer data without waiting on engineering for every new campaign or connection, and Strata helps us deliver on that for our customers,” said Hightouch co-founder and CTO Joshua Curl.

This move will assist in aligning the data, artificial intelligence, and campaign execution at Hightouch. In addition, increased integration would allow marketers to better respond to evolving campaign needs.
Mullaney also explained how joining Hightouch advances Strata’s original goal.
“Hightouch is removing the ceiling on what marketers can do, bringing data, AI and execution together so marketers can finally move at the speed of their ideas. That’s exactly why we built Strata, and joining Hightouch means we get there faster, for far more marketers,” said Mullaney.
Improving Marketing Operations
Hightouch believes that this deal will make it easier to onboard customers and provide flexibility with regard to changes in marketing technology stacks. As a result, companies will be able to integrate their technologies better and change how they integrate based on their business requirements. This deal makes Hightouch’s integration strategy even stronger.
