ActiveCampaign Recognized as a Leader in IDC MarketScape’s 2026 Agentic Marketing Assessment for Small Businesses

ActiveCampaign

ActiveCampaign has been named a Leader in agentic marketing for small businesses by IDC MarketScape. The recognition highlights ActiveCampaign’s capabilities and strategy for the small business market.

IDC MarketScape recognizes ActiveCampaign as a Leader in its Worldwide Agentic Marketing for Small Businesses 2026 Vendor Assessment. The said assessment is documented in document number US54113526 released in September 2026.

The firm was also awarded Leader accolades in the Worldwide Agentic Marketing for Midmarket Companies 2026 Vendor Evaluation, which bears the document identification number US54841126.

Active Intelligence Supports Autonomous Marketing

ActiveCampaign uses its AI engine, Active Intelligence, to monitor campaign performance continuously. It also tracks contact engagement and identifies emerging opportunities and issues.

Moreover, the technology has the capability to work without prompting from the marketer. Active Intelligence 3.0: Wavelength adds to this ability by looking at account history and behavior patterns. The system also takes into consideration other indicators before making any recommendation for what should come next. Marketers will therefore have the time to concentrate on other aspects of business.

ActiveCampaign offers three levels of autonomy that can scale with business needs. These range from prebuilt intelligence to personalized capabilities and fully custom autonomous agents.

Some of the strengths in the IDC MarketScape report on the platform include the continuous nature of Active Intelligence throughout the marketing life cycle. Other strengths mentioned by the IDC MarketScape report include the strength that extra context enhances the quality of data and intelligence.

This assessment brought to light that ActiveCampaign recently rolled out its MCP. With this launch, Claude and ChatGPT are now able to kick off workflows. Also, this assessment pointed out the routing of models agnostically among many major AI platforms.

Additionally, ActiveCampaign has a partner ecosystem with more than 726 agency partners. These partners provide expertise tailored to different market segments.

“Marketing automation is moving from software you operate to software that works alongside you,” said Chai Atreya, Chief Product and Technology Officer at ActiveCampaign. “We believe this recognition reflects our commitment to giving small businesses leverage through technology that understands their deep business context, identifies strategic opportunities, and takes action. Every future version of our product is designed to help marketers understand what’s working, improve performance, and drive stronger outcomes for their unique business.”

The recognition arrives as small businesses seek new ways to scale their marketing. Meanwhile, they continue looking for better ways to strengthen customer engagement.
