AI Digital has introduced Ellie AI, a superagent designed to improve AI media planning and campaign analysis. The new solution operates within Elevate, the company’s marketing intelligence platform. It helps marketers manage multiple campaign activities through one conversational interface.
As opposed to conventional AI assistants or copilots, Ellie integrates specialist agents based on the individual goals of every user. Such agents help in media planning, campaign analysis, competitor analysis, audience search, and audience profiling.
In addition, Ellie takes marketers through the entire cycle of the campaign. One is able to start from briefings and inquiries through to media plans and performance analysis. The system also provides context across all activities.
Ellie Connects Media Planning and Campaign Analysis
Stephen Magli, CEO and Founder of AI Digital, explained the company’s approach to independent media decisions.
“Most AI in media is built by companies that also sell the media,” said Stephen Magli, CEO and Founder of AI Digital. “Ours isn’t. We don’t own inventory, so Ellie has no reason to prefer one channel over another except performance. That’s what Open Garden means in practice.”
AI Digital developed Ellie around its Open Garden approach. This strategy prioritizes campaign performance over individual platforms or inventory sources.
Research, insights, planning, and the outcomes of media campaigns are usually kept separate in various applications. It is easy to lose valuable context during such transition periods. Ellie solves this problem by linking campaign data from various channels and demand-side platforms. This allows marketers to get a more comprehensive view of their campaigns’ success.
For example, an agency managing over 20 campaigns for a multi-rooftop automotive dealership group can use Ellie. The agency can identify campaigns with pacing issues and receive recommendations for improvement.
Additionally, Ellie can organize these findings into client-ready reports.
Mike Uzunyan, Vice President of Product at AI Digital, highlighted the platform’s connected workflow.
“Marketers can spend a lot of time carrying what they learned in one tool over to the next,” said Mike Uzunyan, Vice President of Product at AI Digital. “With Ellie, research findings can inform audience choices, audience choices can shape the media plan, and the plan can inform the deliverable, all within the same conversation. We built it specifically for advertising, so that context stays connected to the media decisions teams have to make.”
He also explained that AI Digital designed Ellie specifically for advertising workflows. This approach keeps important context connected throughout media decision-making.
Ellie generates media plans, analysis, and recommendations. However, human reviewers must approve every campaign launch or change. Users submit Ellie’s output through Elevate. Subsequently, AI Digital’s managed service team activates campaigns after review.
Early access was granted by AI Digital via its AI Innovation Center. The center was launched on October 29th at Miami’s Design District. Ellie is currently available for AI Digital customers via Elevate without any extra fees for the platform. But it requires certain commitment on the part of potential customers.
