Bloomreach has introduced zero-copy activation through its external segments feature, helping brands activate customer audiences from any data warehouse or customer data platform (CDP). The update supports open, composable marketing technology stacks and enables marketers to use existing audience intelligence without rebuilding segments.
Bloomreach Expands Its Open Data Activation Capabilities
The new feature allows brands to bring audiences from data warehouses, CDPs, and reverse ETL tools into Bloomreach as ready-to-use segments. Consequently, marketing teams can activate insights developed by their data teams without recreating audience logic or building additional attribute pipelines.
“Any system capable of accessing Bloomreach’s open API will be able to drive audiences to the platform, while native segmentation by Bloomreach stays the same, making it possible to add external audiences to existing segments.”
Loomi, Bloomreach’s AI solution that helps engage customers, applies this segmentation to customize customer interactions on more than 17 channels. In addition, the platform sends back engagement and outcome signals to each brand’s data platform.
“Brands have spent years building their customer intelligence in their own data platform, and they shouldn’t have to move it because their marketing vendor is getting absorbed into a closed system,” said Raj De Datta, CEO and co-founder of Bloomreach. “Bloomreach is open by design, built for a composable world. With zero-copy activation, the audiences and models that data teams have already built can be put to work without moving any data. From there, our AI, Loomi, gets to work, delivering intelligence at the edge of every customer interaction.”

Supporting an Open, Composable Marketing Stack
Bloomreach also offers capabilities that connect its platform with existing data infrastructure. Its native warehouse connectors support Databricks, Snowflake, Google BigQuery, and Amazon Redshift.
Brands get to choose the necessary data for different scenarios and also manage how long the data is stored. In addition to that, Loomi utilizes the power of real-time learning and optimization technologies in the AI models, including reinforcement learning, in order to improve offers, recommendations, and messaging.
Closing the Customer Data Feedback Loop
This information will be sent by Bloomreach back to the data platforms of the brands. This information helps in identifying the responses of customers along with the channel, timing, and offer..
Loomi Connect is also capable of providing access to Loomi via MCP, A2A, or APIs for external agents and AI assistants. Tools such as Databricks Genie, Claude, Codex, MS Copilot, and Cursor are some of the tools supported by Loomi Connect. As per Bloomreach, developers have already created more than 200 agents using Loomi Connect. With these features, Bloomreach seeks to provide brands with customer intelligence and personalized activation.
