Canva and Vibe Introduce Social-Speed Creative to Streaming TV

streaming TV advertising

Canva and Vibe have introduced an integration that brings streaming TV advertising into Canva’s creative workflow. The integration lets marketers create and publish TV ads directly through Canva.

The Canva app for Vibe lets teams design video ads within Canva. They can then publish those ads to their Vibe creative library. From there, advertisers can attach each creative to a streaming TV campaign. They no longer need to download or manually upload files.

In the past, creating ads for television meant spending much time on preparation as well as the need for big budgets. Nevertheless, this combination lets companies create TV versions of their commercials as quickly as they create social media content.

“Canva gives teams a home for professional video production, where they can create with AI, stay on brand and collaborate from the first idea to the final edit,” said Bryant Lee, Head of Ecosystem Partnerships and GTM at Canva. “With Vibe, teams can bring their brand to life in one of the most important formats for visual communication, TV, using the creative tools they already know. It’s part of our vision for Canva to be the creative layer of every workflow, helping people create once and publish to any platform.”

Faster TV Creative Testing and Campaign Management

Vibe’s CTV Creative Performance Report supports the shift toward simpler production. The report analyzed more than 17,000 creatives from 3,400 brands. It found brands repurposing authentic social videos for TV campaigns. These creatives often feature real people, strong offers, and QR codes.

The integration gives advertisers several new capabilities. First, teams can test TV creatives alongside existing campaign variations. They can use Vibe’s audience, device, and daypart targeting across premium streaming inventory. Additionally, advertisers can publish directly from Canva.

Vibe is included in the Canva publishing menu among other advertising and social sites. Once one links an account with Canva, publishing on Vibe becomes possible without any further effort. Canva also adheres to the Vibe standards for streaming video. Such standards involve MP4, 16:9, and five-to-90-second-long videos.

“We built Vibe so marketers could run TV the way they run social: precise targeting, measurement in the tools they already trust, and constant creative testing. Creative has been the hardest part to bring over, because on TV every new test used to mean a new production. Canva is where many of those teams already make their ads, so a new TV variation is now as easy to make as a new social post. And for brands that have stayed off TV because production felt out of reach, that barrier just got a lot lower,” said Arthur Querou, cofounder and CEO of Vibe.

Additionally, the platform has a requirement for a minimum resolution of 1280×720. Canva alerts users in case their creations do not meet this requirement. Also, having an option to select an account is beneficial because agencies can manage different brands and regions through account selection.

This means that media buyers waste less time obtaining files through emails and conversations. Canva creatives undergo Vibe’s standard moderation process. It includes automatic scanning, channel-level inventory checks, and human review when necessary. The Canva app on Vibe is available free of charge to all Vibe advertisers. All advertisers will have the option of linking their Vibe accounts using the Canva publish menu. Vibe also provides streaming TV campaigns without any contract commitments.
