The FIFA World Cup 2026 ads ranking from EDO reveals the brands that created the strongest consumer engagement during the tournament. EDO, a leader in TV outcomes measurement, analyzed more than 1,200 brand advertisements across every World Cup match.
The company evaluated ads based on investment-grade data. The measurement focused on immediate consumer actions that indicate future business impact. Moreover, EDO ranked advertisements across English and Spanish broadcasts.
The most successful brands in the tournament-wide ranking included Kalshi, Oura Ring, and AT&T. These brands managed to produce campaigns that achieved high engagement rates among 369 brands in 22 different categories. EDO’s FIFA World Cup 2026 ad ranking reveals brand performance insights from one of TV’s largest global sporting events. In particular, EDO has been monitoring the reaction of consumers after each ad was shown on TV. As stated by EDO, the most engaging ad was produced by Kalshi and entitled “Dentist” with Timothée Chalamet.
“The World Cup is one of TV’s biggest stages, exactly the kind of moment EDO is built to measure. And for six weeks across hundreds of brands, hundreds more ads, and two languages, there’s only one metric that matters most: immediate, mid-funnel TV outcomes,” said Kevin Krim, President and CEO, EDO. “We didn’t ask people what they thought of the ads because it’s not a popularity contest. We watched what they did after they saw them, to the same standard we hold every ad to, from the Super Bowl to the World Cup Final. Take Kalshi: their spot generated the most engagement of the entire tournament, proof that a breakout ad can win just as big as any established brand. The brands at the top of this list moved people to act and moved their businesses forward.”
Top Performing Brands in FIFA World Cup 2026 Advertising Rankings
“World’s Smallest Ring” by Oura Ring took the second spot, providing 267 times more engagement. In third place was AT&T Home Internet’s “Knock on the Block”, which gave 170 times more engagement. What’s more, Adidas, Toyota, Meta, YouTube TV, Verizon Wireless, and Universal Pictures were among those with the best performance.
EDO further found category leaders in various sectors like automotive, consumer electronics, financial services, food & beverages, retail, streaming, and travel. Toyota was the leader for the non-luxury automotive category, whereas Lexus was the leader for the luxury automotive category. Oura Ring was the category leader for consumer electronics.
“AI has changed how consumers engage with ads and revealed what actually moves them most. The World Cup is no exception. Brands now need to quickly know if their ad actually broke through, while their campaign is still in-flight. Most TV measurement comes up short here, but not immediate mid-funnel outcomes,” said Laura Grover, SVP, Head of Client Solutions, EDO. “This matters most to marketers investing in live sports moments like the World Cup. Our latest research shows search-to-site visits have fallen 22% in the past year, as AI answers more before a consumer even clicks. That makes our World Cup findings even more telling: brands like AT&T, Oura Ring, and Adidas didn’t just lead their categories; they generated some of the highest engagement multiples across 369 brands and 22 categories where we tracked every ad’s impact on immediate, ad-driven outcomes. That’s why measuring the mid-funnel matters most.”
EDO monitored all the national commercials broadcast during the tournament. The brand analyzed the online response to each ad right after its appearance. The ranking of FIFA World Cup 2026 commercials allows for an understanding of how effective the campaigns were. The ranking also shows the increasing role of ad analytics in sports marketing.
