Triton Digital has launched its AI Seller Agent for audio advertising and completed its first agentic media transaction with Otrium, Draft Digital, and Talpa Media. The transaction marks an industry milestone by connecting AI buying and selling agents throughout the advertising process.
The media partner was Talpa Media, while the agency was Draft Digital for Otrium. The entire process from the campaign requests to the ad server booking was done by AI agents without any manual involvement.
The automated system decreased execution time from days to minutes. It also assisted in matching available inventory with campaign needs without a lot of manual coordination.
Triton Digital developed the Seller Agent on its Triton Ad Platform (TAP). The capability allows publishers and buyers to receive, assess, and fulfill campaign requests from AI buying agents. Additionally, the launch builds on Triton’s founding membership in AgenticAdvertising.org, which supports the Advertising Context Protocol (AdCP).
Benjamin Masse, Chief Product Officer at Triton Digital, explained the opportunity for audio advertising.
“Audio doesn’t have a performance problem; it has an allocation problem. Budgets follow the path of least resistance and execution cost, rather than focusing on effectiveness. Now agents can interact to identify the right inventory, align on terms and book the deal in minutes instead of days, without the publisher giving up control of pricing or relationships,” said Benjamin Masse, Chief Product Officer at Triton Digital. “We’re not removing the publisher from the decision; we’re removing the friction around it. When publishers can say yes to more demand and improve product fit for advertisers, that’s real revenue lift and stronger retention.”
He added that AI agents can match inventory, negotiate terms, and book campaigns faster while preserving publisher control.
AI Agents Streamline Campaign Execution With Governance
An AI agent representing Otrium identified suitable audio products through Triton Digital. Next, the systems coordinated availability and commercial terms before automatically booking the campaign.
The campaign is now live through Talpa Media’s digital audio offering, using Sync, its AI-driven infrastructure for agentic advertising and shared intelligence.
Triton Digital designed the Seller Agent to automate execution while keeping people accountable. Teams establish pricing limits, data protections, privacy requirements, and campaign validation standards before deployment. Consequently, each booking must meet those requirements before launch.
Allard Korenhof, Director Digital Transformation at Talpa Media, highlighted the importance of open standards.
“This transaction is about more than automating a single campaign. As AI becomes an increasingly important part of media planning and buying, we’re building Sync to ensure trusted Dutch media remains visible and accessible within the next generation of buying systems. By connecting directly to the ecosystems used by media agencies through open standards like AdCP, we enable AI to make better-informed media decisions based not only on scale, but also on quality, context, and impact,” said Allard Korenhof, Director Digital Transformation, Talpa Media.
Philip Sonneveldt, Head of Growth at Otrium, emphasized the importance of oversight.
“This kind of agent-to-agent execution is exactly why we’re interested in agentic buying: it lets us move budget to the best-fit inventory in minutes rather than days, without losing any of the oversight we require around pricing, targeting and brand safety,” said Philip Sonneveldt, Head of Growth, Otrium. “Speed only matters to us if the guardrails hold, and this transaction showed both.”
Meanwhile, Draft Digital founder Lars Postmus described how AI supports the wider advertising workflow.
“This is not just agentic buying. It is the full AI chain, closed end to end. Agents source and book at scale, Talpa Media’s account managers tailor what is offered, and the creatives change daily with AI. Our consultants buy with a precision that directly moves Otrium’s business,” said Lars Postmus, Founder, Draft Digital. “AI does not replace people here; it puts them in their strength. That is the new standard, and Otrium is leading the way.”
The transaction demonstrates how AI audio advertising can accelerate media buying while maintaining human oversight, pricing controls, and campaign safeguards.
