Verndale Launches AI Visibility and Content Supply Chain Services for Marketers

AI Visibility

Verndale has introduced new AI Visibility services to help marketers understand brand visibility across AI-generated answers. The services also address content operations needed to improve discovery.

AI assistants now impact how customers conduct brand research before landing on the website. It is hence necessary for marketing managers to comprehend how these tools refer to and discuss different brands.

Verndale is now providing services to measure AI visibility and evaluate content operations. Verndale’s services assist companies in determining deficiencies in their search and AI-driven discovery processes. According to SparkToro research, 68 percent of Google searches in the United States did not result in a click. The research relied on Similarweb clickstream data between January and April 2026.

Meanwhile, Gartner reported that 45% of surveyed B2B buyers used generative AI during a recent purchase. Buyers mainly used AI to research vendors and products.

AI Visibility Expands Beyond Traditional SEO

SEO remains important for digital discovery. However, Verndale said marketers now need to evaluate visibility across AI-generated responses.

“A brand can have strong search rankings and still be missing from the questions that shape consideration,” said Tod Szewczyk, Managing Director of Marketing Services at Verndale. “Brands need to know where they are being named, when they are being recommended, which sources are influencing the answer, and where inaccurate information is taking hold.”

Google guidance confirms that established SEO practices remain relevant to AI Overviews and AI Mode. Meanwhile, AEO and GEO examine brand visibility across AI responses.

Verndale evaluates AI visibility by testing real audience questions across major AI assistants. The analysis tracks brand mentions, recommendations, citations, competing sources, and conflicting claims.

One study by Verndale gathered more than 7,200 responses to questions from AI on six prominent platforms. More than 100 questions were asked in the research at a top US graduate school. This school garnered 16% of all provider mentions among 18 institutions. The website provided 13% of all citations.

However, the study identified important gaps. Competitors appeared in 21 question and assistant combinations where the institution did not appear. Verndale also found 284 answers that conflicted with current program facts confirmed by the client.

The services offered by this company can assist organizations in overcoming these issues of visibility and content management. The services include evaluation of technical performance, content coverage, citation, accuracy, and authority. In addition to that, Verndale provides an AI-Ready Content Supply Chain Assessment.

“AI visibility creates a new demand signal for content teams,” Szewczyk said. “The organizations that act on it will connect what audiences are asking with the content, governance, and workflows required to answer accurately.”
