Voice AI Platform Deepgram Integrates Streaming Speech Tech into Amazon SageMaker

Voice AI

Deepgram‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ has improved its Voice AI features by adding a new integration that sends real-time streaming speech technology to Amazon SageMaker. The firm has already enabled speech-to-text, text-to-speech, and voice-agent operations directly on SageMaker real-time endpoints. Such a modification provides users with less time and better robustness to perform cutting-edge voice applications in their existing AWS environments.

The voice AI fusion allows the achievement of sub-second latency, which is extremely important for live analytics and contact center workloads. Moreover, Deepgram has taken care that the teams can eventually invent and develop voice-controlled applications without the need for building custom pipelines. The service is hosted on AWS, and at the moment, it supports streaming responses through InvokeEndpointWithResponseStream.Consequently, data is kept in Amazon VPC environments. This is beneficial for organisations in terms of complying with strict compliance and data residency regulations. The update has broadened Deepgram’s Voice AI leadership influence in enterprise markets.

Deepgram Expands Voice AI Capabilities with New SageMaker Integration

Deepgram’s CEO and Co-Founder, Scott Stephenson, indicated that the integration is a big step for real-time voice systems. In his words, such a partnership offers developers an easy way to deploy quickly and accurately voice applications right on AWS. Besides, the removal of integration deployment complexity enables the onboard teams to focus on innovation rather than infrastructure issues. Deepgram also took the opportunity to emphasise the continuity of its cooperation with AWS.

The company is an AWS Generative AI Competency holder and has a multi-year Strategic Collaboration Agreement with AWS. AWS leaders said the new integration will help customers speed up the development process. They added that it will also maintain security and compliance. Deepgram will be showcasing the new functionalities at AWS re: Invent 2025 in Las Vegas. The company has arranged live demos and technical sessions for ‍‌‍‍‌‍ ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌developers.
