Yext, Inc. announced the launch of Scout MCP and Scout API for its global partner ecosystem. The enterprise agentic marketing platform opened its visibility and competitive intelligence infrastructure to digital marketing agencies. This rollout positions Yext as the data layer for an agentic marketing era. Agencies gain a dataset advantage that their local clients cannot get anywhere else.
The dataset analyzes 10 billion signals monthly across four AI models. It covers over 12 million business locations worldwide. Every scan surfaces 150 visibility metrics across 20 competitors. Now, partners can utilize Scout MCP and Scout API to access these insights.
Advanced Data Access for Local Agencies
AI is changing the execution work of local agencies. A 2025 report from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce notes that 58 percent of small businesses use generative AI. This rate is more than double the percentage from 2023. AI commoditizes content generation and publishing. Agencies must deliver strategic guidance grounded in unique data.
“The role of a local digital marketing agency has always been the same: help small businesses compete and win in their markets. With Scout MCP, local digital marketers can now effortlessly access visibility and competitive intelligence that would have been impossible to assemble five years ago. That’s a different level of conversation entirely,” said Christian Ward, Chief Data Officer at Yext.
“As AI reshapes local marketing, access to differentiated data becomes the real competitive advantage. What makes Scout compelling is the depth of visibility into AI models, search performance, and competitor analysis. We believe partners will be able to build entirely new client experiences and workflows on top of Scout MCP that simply weren’t possible a few years ago,” said Brock Berry, CEO & Co-Founder of AdCellerant, a global digital marketing services company.
Partners can use the infrastructure to show businesses where they stand in AI and local search. The tool tracks AI citations to see which models cite a brand. It monitors traditional and AI search surfaces. Furthermore, the system builds a 90-day growth plan with prioritized action recommendations.
Agencies can choose between the UI, the conversational MCP, or the customizable API. Partners inherit all platform developments directly from Yext. The tools join the existing Management API and Content Delivery API ecosystem.
