ZoomInfo has become a flagship data partner for Salesforce Hunter, bringing sales intelligence into Salesforce Sales Cloud. This combination of CRM context with validated company information, contacts, and real-time market signals enables the sales team to carry out account research, prospecting, and personalization of outreach.
Hunter by Salesforce is an AI-based outbound sales agent that translates sales objectives into actions. It uses learning methods for sales processes based on calls, emails, and notes. Moreover, Hunter adheres to the current permissions and approvals framework and keeps context within accounts, contacts, and opportunities. Where human intervention is required, the agent provides justification and seeks permission.
ZoomInfo Intelligence Enhances AI-Powered Prospecting
ZoomInfo offers outside market information not necessarily contained in the traditional CRM database. Using the ZoomInfo GTM Context Graph, Hunter has access to validated information about companies and contacts, intent signals, news, and other intelligence. The platform has more than 100 million companies, 500 million contacts, and billions of signals.
Moreover, Salesforce users will be able to access the data directly through Hunter without having to use any other tool or log into any other platform. For instance, Hunter will be able to find recent funding rounds or revenue management positions and will then be able to provide context-based outreach for the sales team.
“Hunter combines everything Salesforce knows about how a team sells with trusted third-party intelligence. ZoomInfo is an important part of that, bringing verified company and contact data and real-time signals directly into the seller’s workflow inside Sales Cloud. No separate contracts are needed; ZoomInfo ships with Hunter out-of-the-box.” Said Rohan Punamia, VP of Product Management at Salesforce.
“Every AI sales agent runs into the same limit: it can only reason over what’s already in the CRM. Hunter pairs Salesforce’s understanding of how a team sells with ZoomInfo’s verified data on more than 100 million companies and 500 million contacts. That’s the difference between an agent that summarizes last quarter and one that knows what changed at an account this morning.” Said Dennis Sevilla, Chief Strategy Officer at ZoomInfo.
GTM.AI Extends Intelligence Across Sales Agents
ZoomInfo provides intelligence for Hunter via GTM.AI, which is ZoomInfo’s headless go-to-market context layer. The technology also enables the Salesforce Prospecting Agent and works with Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot Studio, HubSpot Breeze, and Gong.
Existing permissions control access to data and the activities performed by the agent. Companies can check the actions of the agent, the data on which it operates, and the reasons for such decisions. In general, the combination of customer data in Salesforce and market information from ZoomInfo allows for better sales performance.
