Xsolla has announced Video Game Co-Marketing campaigns, a new self-service tool for payment providers and video game developers. The upcoming feature will operate through Xsolla Business Account for Payment Providers. It will allow providers to launch and manage marketing campaigns directly with game developers.
The preview for this new product will take place during Money20/20 USA that will be held in Las Vegas from October 18 to 21, 2026. Participants of the event can visit Xsolla in meeting room Veronese 2505. The gaming industry is responsible for a large amount of consumer spending, but payment providers rarely get the chance to be involved in its marketing. Xsolla wants to change this situation.
This will assist the service provider in learning about the performance of the payment methods being used in the games. This means that they will be able to find out the best campaigns that they could start through their accounts.
How Xsolla’s Co-Marketing Campaigns Work
The campaign process follows four steps within Xsolla Business Account for Payment Providers. Firstly, the providers can analyze the data to find out which games use the provider’s payment systems more often. Secondly, the providers can choose a promotional activity and make a campaign request. In this way, for instance, providers may give cashbacks for certain payment methods used by players.
Afterwards, developers evaluate requests and make decisions about their participation. What is particularly noteworthy is that campaigns need the permission of both parties prior to implementation. Having received the permission, the implementation is conducted by Xsolla. The promotions are visible on the payment page via Xsolla Pay Station and on a special page of x.la.
“Payment providers have long competed mostly on rate,” said Chris Hewish, President of Xsolla. “Co-Marketing Campaigns give them a way to win on more than that, with promotions built around the video games their customers already play. It turns a payment relationship into a marketing one, and it runs from the account they already have.”
Xsolla Expands Opportunities for Financial Institutions
In addition to the payment solutions, Xsolla will also be offering more services to the financial companies. These services would assist the financial companies in involving the gaming community by means of reward points, branded stores, and offers for cardholders.
Xsolla Co-Marketing Campaigns will be available to payment service providers via the Xsolla Business Account. Interested attendees can meet Xsolla at Money20/20 USA or schedule a meeting to explore future marketing opportunities. As a result of the initiative, Xsolla is going to help payment services promote their games.
