Mediaocean Expands Prisma Direct to Search with Microsoft Advertising Integration

Mediaocean

Mediaocean has expanded its Microsoft Advertising Integration through Prisma Direct, connecting campaign management and financial workflows. The integration helps brands and agencies manage media investments more efficiently, from planning through reconciliation.

The Prisma system of Mediaocean, which is used for media investment management, is now integrated with the Microsoft Advertising Platform, which will enable buyers to submit their orders for campaigns and invoice payments online.

Prisma Direct Streamlines Search Advertising Workflows

The system cuts down the workload for marketers handling search campaigns in addition to their other marketing efforts. In the past, it was necessary to enter the same campaign details on several different platforms. Today, the system automatically forwards orders to Microsoft Advertising.

As a result, agencies can reduce administrative tasks and minimize errors between campaign planning and execution.

Drew Kane, Chief Product Officer at Prisma, highlighted the benefits of this integration.

“Search remains one of the most important channels for marketers, yet the workflow often requires teams to move between separate planning, buying, reporting, and billing systems,” said Drew Kane, Chief Product Officer at Prisma. “By integrating the Microsoft Advertising Platform with Prisma Direct, buyers can send orders directly from the platform they already use to manage media investments, while performance data and invoices flow back automatically. The result is a more connected and efficient search buying workflow across the campaign lifecycle.”

He added that performance data and invoices automatically return to Prisma. This creates a more connected search buying workflow throughout the campaign lifecycle.

Also, the integration offers automatic reporting on the performance of the campaign. The buyer can check pacing, delivery, and spend of the campaign through Prisma. Therefore, they will be able to view campaign performance without leaving the platform or manually exporting information.

In addition to that, the integration enables electronic invoicing automatically. Invoices from the Microsoft Advertising Platform can now be seamlessly imported into the Invoices module of Prisma. The process avoids manually entering invoices as well as relying on external applications for the task.

Yolanda Lam, GM, Global Head of Agency Development at Microsoft Advertising, highlighted the importance of connected advertising systems.

“Advertisers want greater connectivity between the systems they use to plan media and the platforms where campaigns are activated,” said Yolanda Lam, GM, Global Head of Agency Development, Microsoft Advertising. “By connecting the Microsoft Advertising Platform directly with Prisma, we’re helping agencies create a more consistent workflow across campaign management, performance, and billing so they can manage their investments more efficiently.”

Prisma Direct first concentrated on providing automated direct transactions for premium media companies. But now its recent expansion has taken connectivity to search advertising as well.

In summary, Mediaocean’s mission is to assist agencies in managing their media investments in multiple media channels. The integration will bring together all processes, including planning, activation, measurement, billing, and reconciliation, into one process.
