ANSI Names Ed Anderson as Chief Digital Officer to Drive Digital Strategy

ANSI announced appointment of Ed Anderson as chief digital officer effective February 23. Anderson will be responsible for digital governance, enterprise architecture, infrastructure, and technology capabilities for mission and long-term growth strategy. He will manage strategic planning and direct responsibility for enterprise systems, cybersecurity, digital innovation, and IT operations leadership.

Anderson integrates digital governance, enterprise architecture, infrastructure, and technology capabilities with organizational mission and long-term growth strategy. He brings extensive experience managing multinational companies across information management, technology strategy, business process reengineering, and change management.

Most recently, Anderson was the chief administrative officer and chief financial officer of Habitat for Humanity International. Anderson transformed IT and financial planning processes in 70 countries, handling $2.4 billion operational size effectively.

Previously, he worked as chief information officer and director at International Monetary Fund. He modernized human resources, knowledge management, collaboration tools, economic data systems, and capacity development platforms globally.

Global Transformation Experience

Anderson served at World Vision International, leading approximately 1,000 employees developing global technology solutions. He also worked as a Presidential Appointee with U.S. Peace Corps, leading transformation initiatives across 74 countries successfully.

Transition Leadership

Anderson joins ANSI as Mike Petosa prepares to retire after two decades of technology department leadership. Petosa remains through March 31 in strategic advisory role ensuring smooth transition continuity. Petosa’s 21 years of leadership guided ANSI through major organizational growth, technological modernization, and institutional change successfully.
