Bouygues Telecom Deploys Perion’s Outmax AI Agent to Cut Customer Acquisition Costs by 34% and Lower Campaign Carbon Intensity

Bouygues Telecom Deploys Perion's Outmax AI Agent

Perion’s Outmax AI Agent helped Bouygues Telecom achieve a 34% reduction in customer acquisition costs during a recent campaign. The French telecommunications operator deployed this proprietary technology across always-on marketing operations to improve its digital advertising efficiency. This enterprise deployment focused on a Fiber-to-the-Home campaign while simultaneously lowering campaign carbon intensity by 51%. Perion’s Outmax AI Agent functions as an autonomous execution layer that operates directly within closed platforms like Meta.

Scalable AI Execution for Telecom Marketing

This implementation helps solidify an approach wherein the AI is implemented right in marketing processes to manage execution. In contrast to the use of standard tools, this particular agent manages execution based on achieving business goals, such as efficiency and sustainability. Parameters were managed in real-time for efficiency throughout the full sales funnel. This flexibility allowed the brand to maintain premium inventory access while improving its engagement metrics.

“Our objective was to improve acquisition efficiency while reducing the carbon intensity of our media. Outmax enabled both. The ability to shift KPIs in real time without disrupting performance gave us the confidence to extend this model across additional channels,” said Rim El Bekkaoui, Head of Media Expertise, Bouygues Telecom.

“This deployment is a clear demonstration of the direction of our strategy – embedding AI directly into enterprise media execution,” said Tal Jacobson, CEO of Perion. “As marketers demand real-time, measurable efficiency across channels, objectives, and platforms, Outmax is designed to operate as an autonomous execution layer, continuously optimizing performance within both open and closed platforms.”

Bouygues Telecom is now extending this framework into additional channels following the successful Meta deployment. The repeatable model allows the operator to support over 30 million customers more efficiently. This partnership highlights how advanced technology solves complex advertising challenges through scalable, AI-native execution infrastructure.
