SUPERWISE Introduces Sentinel, an Enterprise AI Gateway to Govern LLM Traffic at the Network Edge

AI gateway

SUPERWISE has launched Sentinel, an AI gateway designed to govern enterprise LLM traffic. The new solution adds real-time protection at the network edge.

The Agentic Management Platform SUPERWISE released Sentinel as an enterprise gateway for interacting with AI. This solution provides a live guardrail layer for business LLM activity.

Sentinel can work as a light gateway at the network edge. Sentinel can also run locally on the PCs of the users. At the same time, the solution safeguards the confidential information of the company and customers during the AI communication process. The system filters out secrets, personal information, and toxic content in real-time.

Sentinel Provides Real-Time AI Traffic Control

With the increased adoption of AI, there is increased difficulty in terms of visibility. There are many companies that find it hard to measure the way their employees and applications utilize large language models. Sentinel offers a solution to that problem since it offers an integrated control plane where you are able to measure your AI traffic.

Risks involved include rapid injection, data leaks, jailbreaks, and unsafe outputs. In addition, Sentinel supports multiple models and providers without restricting organizations to any single platform.

“Every team we talk to is already using AI, whether IT knows about it or not. That’s the reality we built Sentinel for,” said Russ Blattner, CEO of SUPERWISE. “Organizations don’t need another policy document telling people what not to do with AI; they need a system that sees the traffic and enforces the policy in real time. Sentinel gives security teams that visibility without slowing engineering down, and it keeps the customer’s data inside their own perimeter the entire time.”

It is compatible with OpenAI, Claude, and Gemini. Companies may implement Sentinel through Docker or CLI. Alternatively, they can incorporate it directly within their cluster of containers. This eliminates the necessity of embedding any security code within each application.

Sentinel enables better visibility without hindering the efficiency of the engineers’ processes. In addition to that, Sentinel maintains the customers’ data inside the company’s perimeter. With the increasing trend towards AI in enterprises, Sentinel enables a layer of control for LLM traffic.
