Peloton Interactive, Inc. (NASDAQ: PTON) has expanded its executive team with the appointment of Megan Imbres as Chief Marketing Officer and the promotion of Francis Shanahan to the newly created role of Chief Technology Officer. These leadership moves signal Peloton’s strategic commitment to elevate brand engagement and drive innovation through AI-powered fitness experiences.

Joining Peloton on July 7, Imbres will take charge of global brand and product marketing, creative direction, growth strategies, and member engagement. With over two decades of experience, she has held key roles at major consumer brands such as Apple, Netflix, Amazon Ads, and Quibi. Most recently, she led Apple’s LA-based Marcom group, managing high-impact campaigns including the Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show and Apple TV’s partnership with Major League Soccer. A competitive triathlete herself, Imbres brings both passion and precision to the role, reporting directly to CEO Peter Stern.

Meanwhile, Francis Shanahan steps into the CTO position after serving as SVP of Connected Fitness Software. Since joining in 2021, Shanahan has played a pivotal role in advancing Peloton’s tech capabilities, introducing features like Personalized Plans and Pace Targets, while reshaping the user interface to enhance content discovery and engagement.
