Adobe and LinkedIn Unveil AI Skills Initiative for Marketing Talent

Adobe & LinkedIn Launch Global AI Skills Initiative for Marketing Professionals

Adobe and LinkedIn announced a global AI Skills Initiative to equip marketing professionals with practical AI skills for the workplace. The new program, AI Essentials for Marketers, delivers role-based learning for professionals at every stage of their career. And the courses are designed for busy schedules, with short-form formats so you can easily fit them in. Adobe and LinkedIn today announced an initiative designed to help marketers navigate the increasing impact of agentic AI. The demand for AI literacy is increasing as more organizations start to use AI technologies.

According to LinkedIn Economic Graph data, marketing job postings requiring AI literacy skills increased by 113% year over year. The platform represents a global economic network spanning 1.3 billion members, more than 71 million companies, and 42,000 skills. Adobe continues to play a major role in marketing innovation. Today, 99% of Fortune 100 companies use AI in an Adobe application. These organizations include The Estée Lauder Companies, L’Oréal, The National Football League, Newell Brands, Premier League, Prudential Financial, Publicis Groupe, and Real Madrid.

Industry Leaders Expand Access to AI Learning

The program builds on Adobe Digital Academy’s mission to support workforce development. Adobe has invested $100 million through donations, scholarships, product access, and strategic partnerships. Additionally, Adobe Experience League provides learning opportunities for customers seeking marketing, creative, and AI literacy skills. LinkedIn Learning strengthens the initiative with more than 25,000 courses. Furthermore, over 2,300 courses focus specifically on artificial intelligence topics.

“Marketers everywhere are eager to embrace AI but need the right skills to do it with confidence,” said Rachel Thornton, Chief Marketing Officer, Enterprise at Adobe. “AI Essentials for Marketers is about more than mastering new tools; it’s about reimagining what creativity, marketing strategy, and customer relationships look like in an AI-powered era. Through Adobe and LinkedIn’s partnership, marketers can now access hundreds of hours of content, training, videos and expertise from a global community of marketers and technologists who are using and shaping AI and marketing tools and products. Training and re-skilling are top of mind for CMOs, and at Adobe we are excited to partner with LinkedIn to make it easier and faster for teams to learn and train on what’s next for marketing, creativity and AI.”

“Marketers are navigating the shift to AI and it is both daunting and exciting,” said Jessica Jensen, Chief Marketing Officer, LinkedIn. “LinkedIn’s labor market report provides insights for marketers to see where the industry is going and to understand the skills they will need to be successful both in their current job and for what’s next in their careers. Together with Adobe, we’re helping make AI skills accessible to every marketer — not just technical specialists — through scalable, practical learning designed for the realities of modern work.”

AI Essentials for Marketers includes four role-based courses available in 47 languages. BrandWorks, LinkedIn’s team of experts, developed the curriculum using LinkedIn Economic Graph insights.

The courses cover digital marketing, content and creative, social and communications, and data and analytics. Participants can access the courses free of charge through LinkedIn Learning.

They can also explore customer case studies, practical exercises, and expanded learning experiences through Adobe Experience League. In addition, Adobe and LinkedIn plan to add new content regularly.
